Zonta Woodstock Post-secondary Bursary

The Zonta Woodstock post-secondary bursary will award three residents of Oxford County.  Students living in an area serviced by the Secondary Schools in Oxford County and proceeding to a recognized Canadian University or Community College can apply.  The value of the award is $1000 per recipient, as a result of, fundraising efforts of our Zonta Golf Classic.  Payment will be made upon receipt of post-secondary institution registration.

Zonta International and Zonta Woodstock’s vision is to envision a world in which women’s rights are recognized as human rights and every woman is able to achieve her full potential. In such a world, women have access to all resources and are represented in decision making positions on an equal basis with men. To achieve this vision, Zonta Woodstock works to help students pursue the highest level of education possible.

These bursaries have been given out over the past 22 years and have helped many students pursue their post-secondary education.  Guidance Counsellors at the various high schools play a very important role in promoting our bursaries to their students.
